Retreat Testimonials

"I would just like to express a heart-felt thanks to you for putting together such nice people and giving Carolyn the chance to live with you, in your house, on the farm, with the horses and with Lisl, Joyce, and Breanne. It really was a special event and I'm sure she'll always have such wonderful memories of her stay with you...You're a special person."
  Victoria Goettler (Mother of Carolyn)

"I can't tell you HOW MUCH I have enjoyed this vacation--the B & B--and of course, Miss Bea (12-year-old Hanovarian mare). It's been absolutely wonderful! Perhaps I should rethink this birthday thing afterall and give myself the same present every year. The food, as always, was scrumptious! It's great to see you and all my friends at Country Hill again. Thanks once more for a great weekend."
  Nancy Porter (Vice-principal)

"Thank you for the hospitality! The meal was wonderful. We really enjoyed meeting you... Thanks again we all had a great time."
  Ginny, Chris, Kris and Chris

"I wanted to thank you for a wonderful stay at Country Hill Farm. Your family, friends and staff were wonderful and I can't believe how much I learned about farming and looking after horses. In addition, the meals were excellent! Thanks again for taking such good care of me, I had a blast!"
  Karen Hunter

"Thanks so much for the lovely retreat. Your meals were divine and Larissa and I enjoyed ourselves so much. It is such a lovely, country environment. The lessons were a treat too. I will be laughing for weeks over the fact that the horse's name is Couch.....that is just great!!"
  Kelly Carter

"Kathy, thanks for everything!! I enjoyed Country Hill Farm so much! And your meals, conversation and horses! I’ll never forget the time here…thank you so very much.”

After warming up with a gourmet lunch--cream of cauliflower with Asiago cheese, seasoned with lemon thyme and a panini sandwich of grilled vegetable with pesto and brie--this retreat couple heads back to the barn with owner/coach Kathy Fremes (middle) for more of what they came for...riding! Head for the hills through paths lined with snow covered cedars in the back acres of trails or back to the arena for some more coaching--its your choice when you're a guest of Country Hill.
