My horse and I moved to Country Hill Farm following COVID. Previously, we had enjoyed low level eventing and competition, but both of us were getting up in age. I planned to retire my gelding at her farm and put away my riding boots. I thought we were both getting "too old" to enjoy the sport. 

Well, was I wrong!... Although no longer focusing on competition, under Kathy's guidance, we continue to grow and develop as athletes and partners. There's also the acceptance that some days are better than others, and that's OK. Keeping it fun, achievable, and varied is the key to our success and longevity. My horse is healthy, happy, safe, adores Kathy, and living his best horse life at CHF.
